A high-voltage drama unfolded in the West Bengal Assembly as Trinamool MLA Kunal Ghosh was forcibly removed from the House by marshals following a severe commotion. The uproar erupted during the session, leading to chaotic scenes on the floor as proceedings were temporarily disrupted. Following the drama, Kunal has been suspended.
Reacting sharply to the incident, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari strongly condemned the behavior, stating that he had never witnessed such level of rudeness inside the House before. He pointed out that while his party had also served as the opposition in the past, physical misconduct remains entirely unacceptable.
Adhikari specifically highlighted an altercation where MLA Akhruzzaman was allegedly physically abused by an MLA, calling the incident deeply saddening. The removal of the lawmaker by security personnel marked an escalated level of tension between lawmakers during the ongoing legislative session.
